The above list is by no means comprehensive. You will be advised of the appropriate investigations and treatments after all your history (including investigation data) and examination findings have been taken into account. These will be discussed fully with you and procedures performed with informed consent. Needless to say, Dr Ekeroma will refer you to an appropriate colleague if he feels your condition needs sub-specialty attention or your needs will be better met elsewhere.

Patient Information leaflets maybe available that will outline and emphasise again the evidence underpinning treatment options discussed. Please ask for/take these.

Gynaecologist Costs/Fees

  • First consultation $250
  • Follow-up consultation $150
  • Pregnancy care and delivery at Middlemore Hospital $3500. For return patients, $2800.

All fees have been approved as part of the Southern Cross Preferred Provider Status. Please enquire with reception about fees of others procedures.

Procedures performed during the consultations attract a separate fee and will be explained. Procedures or operations and hospital fees schedule, if needed, will be provided.

And why pay $5,000 to $10,000 for a hysterectomy when it could be done for $3,000 for example?
